DANIELLE LEMIEUX – Montreal, Quebec,Canada: vocals, washtub bass.

Distinctive, straight out of the 20's, strong and gutsy when needed, soft and mellow at other times best describe Danielle's voice. Having assimilated several blues vocal styles from Memphis Minnie to Bessie Smith, from Billie Holiday to Dinah Washington, from Son House to Skip James, Danielle willingly betrays her Acadian roots as she wails out a song like «La Belle de 14 Ans», or breaks into one of her show stopping renditions of «No More My Lord». And when she stands on top of the washtub to play, every song becomes a visual performance as she rocks and sways with each measure played.
BRIAN EDGAR - London, U.K.: acoustic guitar, bottleneck, resophonic guitar, six string banjo.

This soulful, masterful picker takes you on a voyage to the Delta, stopping at every crossroad. While most fans have only heard the old masters on record, Brian, as a teenager in the late 50's and early 60's, attended live performances by the likes of Bukka White, Son House, Skip James, Jesse Fuller, Howlin' Wolf, Sonny Terry & Brownie McGhee, Sleepy John Estes & Hamie Nixon, Lightning Hopkins, Champion Jack Dupree, Reverend Gary Davis, Walter Horton and many others.

These experiences, coupled with the immense popularity of Skiffle and Jugband music in England, set the guitarist firmly on his path. Specialising in every variation of country blues, his extensive knowledge of old recordings enables Brian to sift out the repertoire.
